As the Research Officer, Simone supports the research and project initiatives of Reach. She works closely with students, and oversees the Reach research teams and day-to-day project activities. Simone is a Higher Education Professional with several years of experience working in student services. Prior to her role at Reach, Simone worked as a program and office assistant for the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program and provided support to the Global Ideas Institute (GII). She also held various communications and outreach roles at the Department of Student Life, as well as at Canada Border Services Agency, Government of Canada. During her graduate studies, she worked as a graduate assistant for Making Spaces Lab at OISE. She holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto in Sociology, Media Studies, and Political Science, and a Master of Education in Higher Education from OISE. Simone is passionate about helping students succeed holistically.
