As the Program Assistant, Hargun supports the Research Officer and Senior Research Program & Engagement Officer with program implementation, recruitment, and analysis and improvement of workflow systems. Her substantive administration experience is brought to internal projects at Reach which pertain to program strategy. Hargun’s passion for equity in education is exercised in her role as Executive Director of Outreach and Communications at Starts with One, a Toronto-based and student-led non-profit supporting low-income and/or newcomer families with free e-learning services and advocacy work. She is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto majoring in Political Science and French Language and Literature and a researcher at the University of Toronto Aerospace Team’s Division of Space Law & Policy.
