Katie is a community development and engagement specialist with a deep commitment to alleviating social and economic disadvantage and a passion for finding creative ways to support organisations and communities to achieve their goals. Katie has a Masters in Social Work and has experience in counselling and supporting mental health in marginalised communities. She currently works for Kindred Global – an international nonprofit organisation that builds social and emotional wellbeing using a community development approach – and Orygen, Australia’s Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health.
