Margaret Biggs

Margaret Biggs is the former President of the Canadian International
Development Agency (CIDA), immediate past Chair of the Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC), and former Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet, Privy Council Office. She is currently a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Center for Sustainable Development, Brookings Institution, and Matthews Fellow on Global Public Policy at Queen’s University. Ms. Biggs serves on the Boards of the McCall-MacBain Foundation, the National Judicial Institute of Canada, and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). She previously served on the Advisory Council for FinDevCanada, and the Boards for World University Service Canada (WUSC), and the Canadian Partnership on Women and Children’s Health (CanWaCH).
