Sonny Rosenthal is an internationally recognized scholar in environmental and science communication, risk information seeking, and sustainability behavior change, with extensive contributions to research, teaching, and public engagement across Asia and the United States.

Bridges communication theory and behavioral science to design, implement, and evaluate interventions for sustainability, public health, and technology adoption; recognized for methodological rigor, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world impact in policy, education, and community engagement; frequent keynote speaker and media commentator on environmental and science communication.

Since 2014, he has taken groups of students overseas to study and support the works of non-profits and social businesses. He is excited to continue that work under the Reach Alliance banner.
