Meet our 2022 – 23 U of T Reach Researchers
As students and faculty at the University of Toronto enter the 2022-23 academic year, the Reach Alliance is thrilled to welcome a new cohort of Reach researchers, ready to embark upon a year of student driven research case studies related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
This year, Reach’s cohort is composed of 32 ambitious young leaders, from a diverse set of disciplines, preparing to take on case studies designed to reach the ‘hardest to reach.’
The 2022-23 researchers pitched 16 case study topics in July and August, with the final eight case studies selected related to SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing; SDG 5: Gender Equality; SDG 13: Climate Action and more! In addition to the students working on these teams, Reach also welcomes a new collective of faculty mentors and performance coaches, all of whom are critical to the case study research process and researchers’ leadership growth and development.
Over the last few years, Reach has produced innovative, local solutions to pressing global challenges around the world. Learn more about the Reach initiative and check out our latest case study insights!
Make sure to stay tuned as we will be sharing more information about the Reach research teams, their selected case study interventions, and so much more!
