Anna Pearl Johnson is an interdisciplinary practitioner focused on democratic participation and public sector transformation. Based in London, she works on deliberative democracy initiatives, supporting the conditions for resident decision-making to shape government and drive policy change.
Her career spans public policy, pilot programme design, social impact research and stakeholder engagement across the United Kingdom and United States. She holds an MPA in Innovation, Public Policy, and Public Purpose from University College London (IIPP) and an Honours BA in Planning, Public Policy and Management from the University of Oregon.
During her time with Reach, Anna and her team sought to understand the experiences of families with children under five living in temporary accommodation in the UK, exploring how the built environment impacts children’s ‘play needs’ as a wider social determinant of early years health. She joins the Alumni Council eager to connect and encourage the next generation of impact-driven professionals.
