As the Research Communications Designer, Sana conceptualizes research project briefs into effective and creatively designed case study reports and deliverables for dissemination. Prior to joining the University of Toronto, Sana worked as a professional medical illustrator, offering science communication services to professionals in the healthcare industry, editorial publications, researchers, pharmaceutical corporations, and businesses specializing in health, medicine and scientific discovery. She has developed compelling scientific and medical illustrations, motion graphics, UI/UX design, and 2D/3D animations for the purpose of science communication to a broad range of audiences. Sana holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Neurobiology, Genetics and Behavior and a Master of Biomedical Communications from the University of Toronto.
