Ntombini is an international development specialist and urban geographer with expertise in social innovation, urban governance, and public health. Since 2020, she has been with the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, focusing on research and publications related to knowledge co-production. She has completed doctoral research on HIV and urban governance in Mbabane, Eswatini, 1995-2005. Her work is grounded in interdisciplinary approaches to better understand the complex challenges facing our world.
