Gonzalo Romero is an Associate Professor of Operations Management and Statistics at the Rotman School of Management. His main research interests include operations management in low- and middle-income countries, sustainable operations, operations and analytics in healthcare, supply chain management, and revenue management. Gonzalo completed his Ph.D. in Operations Management at M.I.T. and his B.Eng. in Industrial Engineering at the University of Chile. His recent work uses mathematical modelling and analytics to address sustainability and efficiency issues in supply chains in emerging markets.
